Mostly recently,  Dava completed shooting “Ghost Shrink,” a web series about a paranormal psychologist posing as an exorcist, which she co-wrote, co-produced, and acted in.  This is the second web series that Dava has created, produced and starred in, the first being “Inappropriate Fairy Tales”, which was a finalist in the IVFest.


Dava also made the second round (top 10%) in the 2013 Austin Film Festival  for her “Mike and Molly” spec and was a semifinalist in the 2013 Scriptapalooza competition for her feature, “The Registry.”


This past November, Dava was hired as the head writer for Bass Player Live!, a live concert and award show hosted by Jim Norton presented by Revolver Magazine. Dava has also written on The Roast of Dee Synder and The Roast of Zaak Wylde, which were presented by Revolver and aired on AXS TV.


Dava is the featured writer in the Unwind With A Laugh” section of Identity Magazine, an online magazine that empowers women to  ACCEPT. APPRECIATE. ACHIEVE.™ In addition, she has written pieces for We Who Are About To DieDelirious Hem , and The Mental Illness Happy Hour


She has also written and commented for “50 Greatest Wedding Shockers” and “Greatest Body Shockers” on prime-time TV in the UK on E4. Check out a clip below!



Dava was a contributing writer on a pilot for Fuse.tv based partly on her first original web series, “My Roommate’s Boyfriend”.



While studying Theater at Northwestern University, she wrote dozens of sketches which she performed at The Second City Training Center, The Improv Olympic in Chicago and in her own troupe “Karma”.

Dava currently resides in Brooklyn with her Husband and a menagerie of animals.  She loves guacamole but when she eats it, she spills it on her shirt.
